RAIN Summit Canada: Extraordinary speakers; exceptional content


The inaugural RAIN Summit Canada, October 10 at the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto, features a lineup of extraordinary speakers and exceptional content. The Summit is a dynamic half-day event, 9am – 1pm.

For the first time, RAIN presents a Digital Agency Roundtable, intended to be the first in a series of similar panels running through the global series of RAIN Summits. In this event, moderator Sarah van Mosel will lead a discussion with Kristine Lyrette (President, Zenith Canada), Caroline Moul (President, PHD Canada), and David Jowett (Partner, No Fixed Address Inc.). The session will explore buyer and brand expectations in today’s era of digital audio advertising, directly from leaders in the field.

Following along the roundtable” idea, the half-day event will also include a Digital Audio Radio Roundtable, where Steve Goldstein will lead the discussion with five leaders of major Canadian radio groups.

A key presentation will be from Erik Portier, CRO of Radionomy Group, titled “If you don’t have a digital strategy, you don’t have a future strategy.” It brings a contemporary startup sensibility to digital audio strategy — how to fail fast, iterate to improve, including case studies of successful ad campaigns.

The second edition of a key consumer research project about podcast listening, The Canadian Podcast Listener Report 2018, will have its worldwide debut by authors Jeff Ulster (Chief Content and Technology Officer, The Podcast Exchange) and Jeff Vidler (President, Audience Insights).

The event follow’s RAIN’s dynamic 9am – 1pm format, with a networking break and plenty of time after the program for mingling with colleagues. Registration is open, with over 60 companies currently committed to be in attendance. The Glenn Gould Studio is a legendary, historic, and beautiful venue.
