Laura Mayer, RAIN Summit Speaker and Executive Producer, Podcast Programming at ABC News, is promoting her recently authored book, Shameless Acquisition Target. It’s described as “an irreverent business memoir based on the podcast of the same name.” The key ingredient, according to publisher Harper One, is “truth from someone still looking for it.” See Laura’s announcement and discussion HERE.
Persistent Optimism
The Podglomerate continues its Podcast Perspectives series with an interview of Jenna Weiss-Berman (Executive VP, Audacy, and founder of Pineapple Street Media) conducted by The Podglomerate Founder/CEO Jeff Umbro. “I do have a weird amount of optimism about the industry still,” Weiss-Berman says, “It is really tough. I think that there will probably be more pain and layoffs before it gets a lot better […] if you look at the fundamentals of the industry, everything that implies growth is there.
