Spotify is the only only online audio company to place an executive in the Forbes CMO 50 list of recognized marketing executives. Taj Alavi is VP, Global head of Marketing at Spotify, described in the Forbes blurb as “On a brand-mission to unlock the power of human creativity and empower artists to make a living from their art.” Alavi’s purview stretches across all 180 markets in which the streaming giant operates.
