Targeting teamwork

Global multimedia conglomerate Bauer Media (located in the UK) has collaborated with global tech company and reporting bureau Experian. The goal is to optimize localized radio advertising. 

In this collaboration Experian brings the audience segmentation and geographic data. Bauer Media will use that data to make sure its digital radio ads reach relevant listeners, using the company’s digital audio advertising platform audioXi. Experian brings its MicromarketerG3 technology to match radio’s listening areas with postal districts — this enables localized ads to reach listeners in the intended locations. 

The setup enables ad messaging to reach 22.5 million weekly listeners across 120 local, national, and digital stations.

 

Reclamation project

The International Music Summit,  (IMS) generally considered one of the most influential events in the global electronic music industry, begins tomorrow, April 22. It is a three-day event attended by artists, executives, and entrepreneurs across the music industry, staged on the Spanish island of Ibiza off the Iberian peninsula. Last year’s focus was intergenerational exchange. This year’s title theme is “Reclaim The Dancefloor.” One output of this program is The IMS Business Report, an annual study of data, trends, and valuations.
