PRX has announced a new initiative to provide radio stations with podcast training. The program is called Project Catapult, and it is funded through a $1 million grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Five stations will be selected to participate in a 20-week program that will teach how to develop digital content, cultivate diverse talent, build audience engagement, and monetize. The training will focus on sustainable ideas, fostering fresh talent, and skill building. At the end of the program, each of the participants will launch a new podcast in co-production with PRX. Interested stations can apply beginning today.
