The Ron Burgundy Podcast: Will Ferrell is reviving a favorite film character from Anchorman for a new podcast. The iHeartRadio Original show is co-produced by Funny Or Die and is already planning for two 12-episode seasons; the first will launch in 2019. “Listen, I don’t know what a podcast is, but I currently have a lot of time on my hands and a lot to talk about,” said Ron Burgundy, according to the official statement. “I am also broke. Therefore, I am very excited to do this podcast. It is literally saving my life.”

Aria Code: Classical music station WQXR has teamed with the Metropolitan Opera for a new podcast called Aria Code. The show will explore legendary works from opera, with the debut centered on Verdi’s La Traviata. Folk singer Rhiannon Giddens hosts the program. Guests include for the premiere episode include Met soprano Diana Damrau, dramaturg Cori Ellison, and scientist Dr. Brooke Magnanti.

10 Things That Scare Me: The newest project from WNYC Studios is pretty self-explanatory. Guests come on and share the ten things that scare them on each five-minute episode. Celebrity visitors run the gamut across business, politics, and entertainment, but the show also brings in regular citizens to share their fears and how they’ve shaped their lives. New episodes will be released on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
