On the Move: Pandora’s new role; EVP/Sales at Accuradio

On the Move tracks hires, promotions, and other notable personnel changes in the audio industry.


Mary Beth Agase joins AccuRadio as EVP of Sales: Internet radio company AccuRadio announced the hire, in which Mary Beth Agase joins the company from In-Store Audio Network. Agase will work with national advertisers to create online radio campaigns. AccuRadio targets upscale, at-work listeners. “Her fantastic reputation, combined with her deep experience in both broadcast radio sales and digital sales, will be incredibly valuable in helping us grow the AccuRadio brand in the advertising community,” said CEO Kurt Hanson. Scott Riggs joins Pandora: Former Slacker Senior Director of Radio Scott Riggs notified RAIN News that he has accepted a position at Pandora, in the newly-created role of Principal Product Manager, Content Programming. “My focus is on refining the existing music programming at Pandora as well as driving new programming ideas and innovation,” Riggs told RAIN News. He was with Slacker for over seven years, starting in 2006, and played a key role designing the online radio product there. He has a broadcast background as well, behind the mic in two San Diego stations.
