On the Move: Executive shuffles at ASCAP and a new face at Sinfini Music

On the Move tracks hires, promotions, and other notable personnel changes within the online audio industry. Here are the latest moves:


ASCAP appoints Michael Martin to head ASCAP Nashville: Michael Martin has been promoted to vice president of the ASCAP Nashville membership office. He has spent more than five years with the organization, and will be reporting to EVP of Membership John Titta in his new capacity.

ASCAP’s Karen Sherry retires: After 36 years with the performing rights organization, Karen Sherry is stepping down from her role as senior vice president of industry affairs. Sherry began working with ASCAP in 1979 as head of public relations.

Sinfini hires head of content: Freya Hellier has been appointed as the head of content for Sinfini Music. She previously worked as a producer at BBC Radio 3. In this role, Hellier will be in charge of leading the classical music website’s editorial team and will direct its creative content production.
