XAPPmedia today announced a new addition to its executive team: Lisa Namerow, who moves over from Slacker Radio.
Namerow was SVP of Strategic Partnerships at Slacker for about a year, and assumes a similarly focused role at XAPPmedia, where her title is SVP of Business Development and Publisher Relations. She will drum up new partnerships for XAPP Ads, XAPPmedia’s flagship product, which was launched in March with launch partner NPR.
Before her stint at Slacker, Namerow maintained an 11-year career at AOL, most of which involved managing AOL Radio, as well as the company’s other music-related editorial and content assets.
“When I first joined AOL Radio, it was exciting because AOL was one of the first to bring Internet radio to the masses,” Namerow said. “Today XAPPmedia is reinventing mobile audio advertising and it’s exciting to again be on the front lines of radio’s next revolution.”
