Jay Green joins Soundrise: “A more pivotal time than ever.”

Jay Green’s 10-year career on the business side of podcasting has taken a new turn, as the veteran executive joins sales and marketing firm Soundrise as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Operations.

Soundrise is a spinoff of Market Enginuity, an independent sales outfit specializing in revenue development for public radio.

“I’ve seen a lot of change over the two decades I’ve spent in the podcasting industry,” Green told RAIN News, “but I think now is a more pivotal time than ever to focus on the partnership opportunities between advertisers and creators. At the start, my work was more about bringing advertisers into a new medium that had yet to be explored. Today, it’s about perfecting that relationship, building processes that enable creators to expand budding relationships with values-aligned brands and integrating new ideas to prove out our ROI.”

Soundrise is led by CEO Harry Clark, who was Executive VP and Chief Revenue Officer of Market Enginuity. He offered these remarks to RAIN News:

“Soundrise is all about exploring the next frontier of mutually beneficial partnerships in the podcasting space, and we couldn’t think of a better person to help us accomplish that than Jay.  His experience developing successful partnerships throughout the industry and creative passion to expand and enhance those relationships will forward our vision of a thriving creative class of independent creators and mission-driven audio while fortifying support for the values-aligned organizations we proudly serve.”
