iHeartRadio’s Matty Staudt leaving to launch new podcast venture

Matty Staudt is leaving his role as vice president of podcast programming for iHeartRadio. He was promoted to the newly-created post about a year ago. Staudt is leaving to launch a new podcast company called Jam Street Media. The new venture will focus on podcasts for brands, talent coaching, and podcast consulting for businesses. He will continue to host the Access Podcast for iHeartRadio.

“I have loved my time at iHeart and getting to be radio’s first VP/Podcast Programming was the culmination of 29 years of work in radio, eight years in higher education, and 12 years in podcasting,” Staudt said. “In the time I have spent with iHeart I have been able to help launch hundreds of podcasts and create podcast networks in every major market in the United States. The talent at iHeart is the best and it’s been my pleasure to work with them and help them move forward into the world of podcasting.”
