iHeartRadio to officially launch in Mexico next month

iHeartRadio has launched in Mexico thanks to a partnership with Grupo ACIR, a leading broadcaster in the nation for more than 50 years. iHeartRadio México is available now in beta in the market and will officially launch on November 3. It will include all 56 Grupo ACIR stations, 850 iHeartMedia live broadcast radio stations, and all of iHeartMedia’s exclusive digital-only iHeartRadio Original stations. iHeartRadio also operates in Canada through an affiliation with Bell Media, and in Australia through the ARN radio network.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with Grupo ACIR to launch iHeartRadio México and now make iHeartRadio available across all of North America,” said Darren Davis, president of iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia Networks Group. “To extend iHeartRadio’s footprint across México allows us to expand our brand and reach to even more listeners globally.”

“This partnership will allow us to better connect with our audience by delivering an incredible free music listening experience and providing amazing technology to our users and partners,” Grupo ACIR CEO Antonio Ibarra said. “Our advertisers will also benefit from new comprehensive digital tools to reach their consumers more efficiently.”
