iHeartMedia selects Sarah van Mosel to lead the iHeart Audience Network

iHeartMedia today announces that Sarah van Mosel, formerly CRO of Stitcher, will lead the company’s new iHeart Audience Network (“iAN”), an highly scaled audio inventory and audience targeting environment that spans podcasting (iHeartPodcast Network), streaming audio (iHeartRadio), and the vast reach of the largest commercial radio group in the U.S.

Van Mosel joins the company as Executive Vice President, iHeart Audience Network. Her career has taken her through executive roles at New York Public Radio, Acast, and Market Enginuity before Stitcher.

The company says that iAN “simplifies audio advertising,” and offers “premium audio inventory at scale.” iHeart brings multiple internal resources and services into play, including a new one which is part of today’s PR blast: Audio Intelligence. It is described as a  one-of-a-kind brand safety tech tool,” developed in collaboration with analytics and measurement company Sounder.

Sarah van Mosel’s role will range across iAN sales operations, publisher development and podcast slate partnerships for iHeartPodcasts. She will report to Conal Byrne, CEO of iHeartMedia Digital Audio Group.
