“First Mover” tickets now available for Podcast Business Summit, with Starbucks perk

Ticket sales are open for the RAIN Podcast Business Summit , March 22, at New World Stages in New York. First Mover registrations benefit from the lowest price, just $299 for the only event examining and defining the business marketplace of on-demand audio, and the opportunity for advertisers. These early buyers will also receive a $15 RAIN-branded Starbucks gift card when they pick up their badges. All ticket buyers who register by February 22 will receive the First Mover price and Starbucks card.

Keynoting the event are Laura Correnti and Alexa Christon, co-hosts of the ADLANDIA podcast. In their dynamic, funny, and extremely informed style, they will address why podcasting is the seminal movement for the modern media mix and the way brands connect with people in their daily lives. Laura Correnti is EVP at the ad agency Giant Spoon, and Alexa Christon is the Head of Media Innovation at GE (which produced the first branded podcast hit, The Message).

Tom Webster, SVP of Edison Research, will present new results from “The Infinite Dial 2018,” on the state of audio and podcasting — plus Q&A with MediaVillage founder, author, and visionary Jack Myers on the impact for advertising.

The complete agenda, which will be released soon on RAIN News and in the RAIN Daily Digest newsletter, features over 20 industry leaders and influencers from podcast publishers, ad agencies, and podcast advertising companies. The audience at the Podcast Business Summit comprises agency buyers, podcast companies, podcast creators/producers, technology innovators, and leaders in other aspects of online audio.
