This morning Abacast announced a new partnership with radio group Entercom, which will switch to Abacast’s Clarity platform to handle ad insertions, campaign management, and analytics.
Abacast markets Clarity as the only cloud-based ad-insertion solution for online radio, available to terrestrial webcasters, pureplay Internet radio, and podcasting. Entercom is a major addition to an already robust client list that includes over 200 customers and 1,400 digital radio stations.
Entercom owns and operates over 100 terrestrial stations in 23 markets.
Abacast was founded in 2000, and received a $500,000 funding round in 2010. RAIN recently reported that Abacast was a finalist in the Red Herring Top 100 Awards.
