Stockholm-based Spotify announced its Q2 2022 financial performance yesterday, beating its guidance on all key measures except gross margin and profitability, with global Monthly Active Users up 19% year-over-year (from 365 million to 422 million listeners), and quarterly revenues up 23% year-over-year to €2.864 billion ($2.91 billion), but net income declining from a small profit in Q2 2021 to a net loss of €194 million ($197 million) in Q2 2022.
