Radionomy adds Erik Portier as Chief Revenue Officer to expand TargetSpot

erik portierRadionomy announced an addition to its executive team: Erik Portier, formerly of Google and founder of several tech companies. Portier will work in the Radionomy Group HQ in Brussels and is tasked with expanding the European presence of digital audio ad agency TargetSpot, which Radionomy acquired in late 2013.

Portier was the Belgian Country Manager at Google for four years, through 2010. He founded Linchpin Technologies, The Drone Company, and Digital Video Market Place — the last being an ad-tech company for linear TV and online video. He comes to Radionomy directly from LijnCom, an advertising company specializing in visual ads on public transportation vehicles.

Radionomy is an Internet radio platform that enables the creation and monetization of online radio stations for individuals, companies, and radio stations. The company owns ShoutCast, a similar American-founded platform used by thousands of small webcasters. Last December, media giant Vivendi acquired a majority (64%) equity stake in Radionomy.
