Vox Media Podcast Network to produce live podcasts on branded stage at SXSW

Vox Media and SXSW (owner of the South By Southwest annual business and networking conference) are partnering to produce a dozen or more live-staged podcasts at the 2024 conference in March.

Vox currently claims 39 owned and operated podcasts, and ten of them are confirmed to produce an episode on the SXSW stage. They include well-known titles Pivot, On With Kara Swisher, Today, Explained, Decoder, The Vergecast, and Stay Tuned with Preet.

Vox promises more confirmations to come.

These are interview shows, and confirmed guests in fields of tech, business, and culture will likely be announced.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring our slate of premium podcasts to South by Southwest, with whom we’ve had a longstanding relationship,” says Jacqueline Cinguina, Vox Media’s CMO. “Like SXSW, our shows at Vox Media foster thoughtful conversations led by authoritative experts on a wide range of topics, and we couldn’t be more excited to complement SXSW’s programming with three days of live conversations, interviews, and so much more.”

“The Vox Media Podcast Stage at SXSW will bring an exciting slate of top tier programming to the 2024 event,” said Jann Baskett, SXSW Co-President and Chief Brand Officer. “Vox Media has been a fantastic collaborator over the years as their forward-thinking perspective lends itself well to our content and activations.”
