UK’s Global launches self-serve ad booking for outdoor and audio advertising

With a new launch for advertisers, UK-based Global has started a self-serve ad-booking platform for audio and outdoor advertising.

Called AdPower, the promise is a simple process for planning, creating, and booking a campaign on a single self-serve platform. Users can upload art assets, and/or use AdPower’s tools to plan and create campaigns. Global promises a marketing presence on “some of the UK’s largest mainstream media brands and networks. Those campaigns flow out to Global’s FM, and DAb platforms, as well as the DAX service. One-day turn-around is possible, and a live dashboard is provided for tracking.

Until now, premium mass-reach media has often felt too slow, too complex or too confusing for many digitally native businesses, observes Miranda Nathews, Director of AdPower. “Today, AdPower changes that. It gives advertisers a simple, fast and direct way to access the scale and impact of outdoor and audio advertising.”

Global reassured that the platform has been “extensively tested: pre-launch over several months.

I think this platform is incredible, enthuses Marisa Poser, co-founder of Perfected, “because you can book media as easily as you can book an Uber. It’s just reducing the barriers to usage for brands like us which is so appreciated and well overdue.”
