Outspoken podcast joins Nova slate
Australian podcast Outspoken has joined Aussie-based network Nova Podcasts. The show is hosted by the sister team of Amy, Kate, and Sophie Taeuber. Two shows are actually included in the new arrangement, the second being The Mums Group which launched in February. Outspoken is the heavy hitter, having clocked 17 million lifetime downloads and averaging more than 200,000 per month. No interruption in the weekly release pace, and the show can still be accessed in Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other distributors. Partnering with the other Pandora
Charmed partnership
The Australian Radio Network (ARN) is partnering with Pandora (not the audio one; the Pandora in this story is Swedish company Pandora Jewelry) to create a podcast called Charmed. Hosted by social media personality and content creator Sam Todd, the series explores the worlds of collectables and the emotional attachments they inspire. The project is a video-led affair that explores the musty world of collectibles. (That’s our characterization, not the official one.) Unsurprisingly for that topic, subjects can range from pop culture to fashion, culture to travel to makeup.
