Podcast host Libsyn’s deal with Samsun, announced in March, is now implemented. Libsyn is telling all 75,000 podcast owners on its platform that they can throw the switch from their RSS settings. Podcasts appear in the Listen portion of nine compatible Samsung phones.

Global audio streaming service Deezer, whose PR frequency is near-daily, informs us today that Ed Sheeran, a singer/songwriter of some repute, has released new acoustic versions of two hit songs (Bad Habits and Shivers) exclusively on Deezer. The recording was made at Centre Pompidou in Paris, in the sky-high glass tunnels there. For free or paying subscribers, and the tracks can be embedded on any website. “We love to give fans unique musical moments,” said VP Nigel Harding.
