Seeking Participation

We learn from Kristin Charron that Veritonic (where she is VP Marketing) has launched a public survey directed to marketing professionals who have used audio attribution in their ad campaigns. TikTok Music

TikTok’s global head of music (Ole Oberman) participates in a tough interview by Tim Ingham at Music Business Worldwide. The conversation gets into the weeds of global music licensing and new music products in development at TikTok. Oberman was a major label exec (Sony/BMG and Warner Music) before joining TikTok parent company ByteDance in 2019. The conversation is deep, detailed, and explores existing tensions between TikTok and the music industry. READ
