Chris Peterson, ex-iHeart head of podcasting, has launched DWNLOAD Media (not a typo), a new podcast venture firm. The plan is to “invest in creators and technology that will define the future of audio.” Partners include Red Seat Ventures and two of its principals, Christopher Balfe and Kevin Balfe.
