Podcast optimization and promotion service Headliner released metrics for 2023. The central stat is reported in minutes of content created by users — about 18-million minutes. Most of that is promotional video clips of podcasts, and adds up to about 34 years of audio content. Headliner also counts the number of transcriptions, minutes of audio, and countries in which all this is created (193 countries). See more in the article and graphic details, HERE.

Stanford Graduate School of Business is launching a podcast — If/Then, hosted by Stanford journalist Kevin Cool. It’s an interview show with thought leaders engaged in research in topics like AI, immigration, sustainability, and power. Guests will be Stanford GSB professors. Scheduled to drop on January 24.
Evangelizing

Larry Linietsky, veteran executive at Cumulus Media and iHeartMedia, celebrates his new role as Principal Evangelist at Amazon Ads’ Amazon Publisher Services. His job is to educate the publisher marketplace about solutions and product suite as the company furthers its partnerships with publishers across web, mobile, streaming TV, video and audio.
