Since 2014 RAIN News has featured New Year predictions from industry illuminati. These brave prognosticators have leadership positions in influential digital audio companies, and many of them have spoken at RAIN Summits — a business conference series for the online audio industries.
This year is the most opulent yet. We received nearly 200 predictions from 53 contributors on three continents. Over 70% of the contributions are about podcasting, mixed in with interesting thoughts about digital audio advertising, technology, smart speakers, legal issues, and more.
