PRX hires its first chief marketing officer

Podcasting company PRX has hired Donna Hardwick as its chief marketing officer. Hardwick will head up the company’s marketing, branding, and communications strategies and initiatives in this newly created role. She was most recently the senior director of communications and distribution at ITVS in San Francisco, which received the Peabody Institutional Award and the Television Academy Governors Award in 2017.

“PRX has its finger on the pulse of public media’s future and appeals to a unique and supportive audience,” Hardwick said. “I have no doubt, this is an organization that has the power to elevate voices and connect people to the stories that impact us all. It’s an amazing opportunity and in some ways, I have come full circle by returning to Boston where I began my public media career.”
