A new podcast network called Lemonada Media made its debut today. The company is founded by Jessica Cordova Kramer, a lawyer and an executive producer for Pod Save the People, and Stephanic Wittels Wachs, an author, actor, and arts educator. The founders’ focus is on building community and sharing stories about real life and shared experiences from a diverse group of people. Lemonada tapped Westwood One for distribion, sales, and marketing of its shows.
The network plans to launch with three original series:
Last Day is hosted by Wittels Wachs and covers the things that kill people. It premieres on September 25 and begins with the current opioid crisis.
As Me with Sinéad is an exploration of empathy with Sinéad Burke. The podcast will feature conversations with a range of guests who will talk about their lives. It starts on October 24.
Good Kids: How Not to Raise an A**Hole begins on November 26. The parenting show will have 15 minute episodes every week, with a range of guests sharing their advice about how to raise good kids.
