The Edward R. Murrow awards have recognized excellence since 1971. There are two waves of awarding — Regional and national. There are 14 regional divisions, carving up the U.S. by groups of states, plus one International region
The regional awards are out today. (See all awards HERE.) Podcasting is a new (one might say belated) category. Below, all the regional podcast winners. NOTE: Regions have multiple podcast winners because, in addition to the dedicated Podcasting category, podcasts are eligible for awards for other categories such as Excellence in Innovation. Furthermore, each region is subdivided into markets of different sizes.
