Deezer announced an expansion into Israel. The company’s free tier and its Premium+ options will be available at launch, as well as a Family plan. The company expects to roll out Deezer HiFi in the coming months. All listeners who sign on to Deezer will get access to the streaming service’s Flow feature, which creates a lean-back personalized playlist for each listener.
“We are thrilled to be launching into Israel – a country that is at the very forefront of technological innovation,” said Phil Moore, VP for the northern and southern EMEA regions. “By offering music fans a hugely diverse music library, local artists a global stage from which to promote their music, and with streaming penetration predicted to increase from 1.5% to between 6-9% in the next two years, there is a huge opportunity for Deezer to contribute to this growth.”
This is the second expansion for Deezer this month. Last week, the company made its Japanese debut with Deezer HiFi.
