Abacast gets finalist spot in Red Herring Top 100

abacast logoStreaming solutions provider Abacast announced today that it has been named a finalist in the Red Herring Top 100 North America awards list for 2014.

Red Herring runs this annual awards list to promote and honor privately-held technology start-ups and scale-ups. In addition to the North America edition, Red Herring compiles awards for Asian and European companies.

Abacast offers end-to-end streaming and monetizing technology for pureplays and broadcasters. The company’s flagship Clarity system is marketed as “the only complete, cloud-based Digital Radio solution that enables profitable online radio streaming for terrestrial broadcasters, Internet webcasters, as well as podcasters.”

“Red Herring highlights outstanding industry innovators, and we’re thrilled to be a finalist this year,” said Abacast CEO Rob Green.
