Acast’s new podcast revenue dashboard: Focus on financial transparency

Podcast giant Acast is making a splash over its launch of a new revenue dashboard for its creator clients. With changes and innovations reportedly based on creator feedback, the new product promises “unprecedented transparency.”

In this product intro, Acast criticizes “some platforms which keep creators in the dark about earnings.” Offering contrast, Acast says it is “doubling down on transparency.” The premise is that understanding financial performance enables creators to make sound decisions (see what we did there?) about content and workflow.

The new-feature list is:

  • Complete revenue data – revenue estimates from all campaign types, including programmatic, branded content, and even non-audio content like social media.
  • Daily updates – data refreshed daily to give you timely insights and help you spot opportunities as they emerge.
  • Revenue and impressions – we’ve combined ad impressions with revenue data (one of the most requested features) so creators understand the relationship between audience engagement and earnings.
  • Per-show breakdowns – detailed performance data for each show individually, making analysis easier for large networks.

A screenshot is provided (and we reproduce below) showing off the revenue reporting.

Other attributes Acast mentions in its news release include advanced filtering, consistent payout data, and flexible data export. See the announcement HERE.
