Libsyn creator earnings leap YoY, along with expansion of the ad program

Comprehensive podcast creator/advertiser platform Libsyn announces a substantial rise in creator earnings, while expanding its Automatic Podcast Ads program across its whole platform.

The metrics apply to January through July, during which Libsyn paid out 40% more to creators compared to the same period a year earlier. The dollar number for that period is not disclosed, but Libsyn does tell us that it has paid out $112 million in creator earnings since 2017.

In good news for smaller shows on Libsyn’s platform, the company has discarded the previous 2,000-download minimum to be included in Automatic Podcast Ads, giving every client some earning potential regardless of audience size.

In another expansion initiative, Libsyn a hosting feature called Multi-use Management to all customers — a feature formerly reserved for  businesses in the Pro and Enterprise levels.

As a side announcement, Libsyn is bragging about a few new roster additions: 10% Happier with Dan Harris, The Jamie O and Mason Ho Show, and Stay True with Madison Prewitt Troutt.
