Jay Soderberg joins sports specialist Locked On Podcast Network

Jay Soderberg has joined Locked On Podcast Network, assuming the post as the group’s first executive producer. Soderberg’s extensive experience in podcasting and audio includes 16 years with ESPN and most recently head of content for BlogTalkRadio and Voxnest.

Locked On was founded in 2016 and specializes in short-form daily podcasts for fans of local and major league sports teams. The company expects to be producing more than 525 episodes a week by the end of the year following new expansions planned for this fall.

“The exponential growth of the network demands a highly respected executive like Jay to help guide our roster of over 100 daily podcast shows,” Locked On CEO David Locke said. “Our network has come a long way from its humble beginning, with one solo NBA podcast, to now being able to attract top industry talent like Jay. We are thrilled to be working with him to expand our network’s reach in innovative and exciting ways.”

“I’ve been watching Locked On’s amazing growth and I am pumped to work directly with the talented team of hosts and up-and-coming personalities that Locked On has assembled,” Soderberg said. “We will be producing daily content that serious sports fans just cannot get anywhere else in the podcast-sphere.”

Locked On has also added two producer roles. Doug Branson, founder of Pod About It, is now the network’s producer of sound and production quality. Sean Woodley has been hired as a content development producer.
