Beasley Media Group has launched a new effort to improve internal leadership for podcasting. The company has appointed four people as Podcast Captains, who will be charged with building up Beasley’s podcast presence. “We are thrilled to have our new Podcast Captains help lead our creative process as Beasley Media Group continues to develop and grow the company’s podcast strategy,” said Buzz Knight, vice president of programming.
The four Podcast Captains are Mike Thomas of Boston, Chuck Damico in Philadelphia, Steve Black in Detroit, and Roy Brown out of Charlotte. All four are local employees who will partner with local content providers for Beasley’s podcast efforts.
