Widely recognized media executive Sarah van Mosel has started a new role as Executive Director of PVBLIC Media, a non-profit media division of PVBLIC Foundation, which self-describes as “an innovative foundation that mobilizes media, data & technology for social impact & sustainable development.” She remains on the Executive Board of AI/podcast company Death by Duck, and is also Strategic Advisor to podcast studio Realm. She was a VP for 10 years a SiriusXM, EVP at iHeartMedia for two years, Chief Revenue Officer at Stitcher, Chief POdcast Sales and Strategy Officer at Soundrise, and Chief Commercial Officer at Acast for about a year. Those gigs cover the last 10 years, before which van Mosel was a VP at New York Public Radio.
Leaving
Molly DeMellier announces that she is leaving her role — Director of Marketing and Public Relations — at the world’s largest pureplay podcast company Acast. “I’ve learned that some of the most transformative chapters in my life have begun after I’ve walked away from something I deeply loved,” she says. De Mellier had been with Acast in several roles for nearly four years, joining the company in June 2021 as Public Relations Manager. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication. Before Acast she owned account executive roles at LaunchSquad and ASTRSK. In her public message, DeMellier observes, “I’ve learned that some of the most transformative chapters in my life have begun after I’ve walked away from something I deeply loved.”
