YouTube adds concert listings in Ticketmaster deal

YouTube has entered a partnership with Ticketmaster for a deal that will allow artists to include tour dates on their official music videos. The new feature will roll out first to any artists with North America Ticketmaster shows, although YouTube said it will expand the service globally. Viewers can see the dates and locations of upcoming shows below videos, and one click will take them to Ticketmaster to make a purchase.

“YouTube’s massive fan base paired with Ticketmaster’s global roster of concerts and security of verified tickets means we can easily connect a fan’s discovery of music on YouTube to their ability to purchase concert tickets,” the company said in an official blog post announcing the deal.
