Promotional video creator Headliner has released an ingenious new feature which hooks into YouTube’s “Most Replayed” feature (described HERE). Headliner — which has been used by 1.5 million creators for making video highlights from long-form audio and video — says the new feature “turns best moments into new growth opportunities.”
Not shy about borrowing the name, Headliner also calls its tool Most Replayed.
Only The Best
The idea here is to create YouTube Shorts and video clips from the most replayed parts of creator videos — both native video and audio-to-video podcasts. Headliner notes that this product release is synchronized with YouTube’s 20th anniversary (April, 2005).
There is some built-in precision and intelligence of this new tool; Headliner affirms context-aware editing — “All video clips start and end on a complete thought or sentence, creating polished videos that make sense while viewers scroll.”
Qualification
There is a qualification threshold for using Headliner’s new creation tool.
To qualify, videos must meet YouTube’s internal criteria. While exact thresholds are not publicly
available, videos usually begin qualifying once they reach approximately 50,000 views after a
few days of activity. Once a video is eligible, creators can use Headliner to convert those
most replayed moments into video clips.
Three Features
Three key features are highlighted in today’s announcement from Headliner:
- Replay-Driven Clipping – Headliner automatically identifies up to five peak moments
from your YouTube video based on real replays. Most Replayed analyzes viewer
behavior to surface the sections audiences are most engaged with, then generates
ready-to-share, styled clips using that data. - Context-Aware Editing – Because Most Replayed leverages learnings from Headliner’s
AI clip selection, all Most Replayed clips are trimmed to start and end at full, natural
language breaks—never mid-sentence—creating polished, professional video clips you
want to share. - Shareable by Design – With viewers spending more time on short-form video than ever
before, Most Replayed aligns audience wants with creator needs, creating the perfect
tool for data-backed clip creation.
Most Replayed is live and available now to all Headliner users HERE.
