Cadence13 introduces documentary podcast about baseball great David Ortiz

Cadence13 announced a new documentary podcast series about the life of baseball player David Ortiz. The four-part show about the three-time world champion with the Boston Red Sox MLB team will premiere on April 16. David Ortiz: The Big Papi Story will cover his career and pivotal moments from his life.

The show is a collaboration with The Players’ Tribune, which contracted with Cadence13 to create a podcast network for telling athletes’ stories when the company was still branded as DGital Media.

“Ortiz’s personal journey is nothing short of remarkable — he defied the odds to become a legend, and made a lasting imprint on baseball and the entire city of Boston,” said Jaymee Messler, president of The Players’ Tribune. “The Big Papi Story brings his story to life in vivid detail.”
