Deezer already had a healthy suite of talk and news content thanks to its acquisition of Stitcher last year. But the new football/soccer additions are just the latest in a flurry of sports programming announcements from the online audio space. Since August, we’ve seen Sports Illustrated team up with the Panoply podcast network and TuneIn kicked off its Premium subscription tier with baseball and soccer content. And last month, Milk Music added college football and CBS announced a new web property of hosted live listen-ins for sports talk.
