Tidal joins ranks of music services with Apple CarPlay support

Tidal’s iOS app is now compatible with Apple CarPlay. The streaming service announced the app update on Wednesday. Subscribers can use the app to access their favorite songs, albums, and playlists in the vehicle infotainment center. Tidal also added a special version of its Explore section for listeners who want to browse for new music or podcasts.

More and more music companies have been adding CarPlay to their available integrations. Sirius XM made a similar announcement last week. So did iHeartRadio in May and Amazon in March. More than 200 vehicle models support Apple CarPlay.
