Tidal adds apps for two television platforms

Tidal has launched its first television apps. Today, the streaming service has rolled out programs to run on the Apple TV and Android TV. Subscribers who own either a device that runs either platform will be able to access Tidal’s music and video content on their televisions.

Tidal has been expanding its availability, recently adding support on Apple CarPlay and Sonos smart speakers. The company had a tumultuous year, with Sprint buying a 33% stake in the streaming service and a fourth CEO taking the reins.
