Tidal expands to Jamaica

Tidal has launched in Jamaica. Residents of the island now have access to the streaming service owned by Jay-Z, which made its name on the celebrity affiliation and high-resolution audio quality offerings. RouteNote reported that that the company’s upcoming expansion plans include moves into Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Peru.

Tidal has made a big turnaround from its shaky initial relaunch under Jay-Z’s guidance. The platform has secured some high-profile exclusive album releases from artists such as Kayne West, Rihanna, and Beyoncé.
