Pandora offers ad-free listening for its 10th anniversary

September 9 marks Pandora’s 10th anniversary. In honor of the milestone, the online radio company announced that it will gift its U.S. listeners with a full day of ad-free music. The Listener Love Day promotion will run from 12 a.m. Eastern on the 9th to 12 a.m. Eastern on the 10th.

For people who need a little guidance on their listening options, Pandora has also created a 10×10 mixtape of the top 10 songs from the past decade of the company’s existence. The audio platform’s musicologist team is also sharing a collection of favorite stations for the event.

“This is a thank you to each and every listener who has tuned in to Pandora over the past 10 years,” founder Tim Westergren said. “Listener Love Day is a celebration of not only our listeners, but a day dedicated to great music.”
