Pandora app hits Xbox One consoles in Australia, New Zealand

Pandora announced in December that it would launch a native app on the Xbox One, the latest game hardware from Microsoft. That app is now also available to Xbox One owners in Australia and New Zealand, Pandora’s two other markets outside the U.S.

As more people migrate their living room listening to their televisions, it’s little surprise that video game consoles have been making connections with streaming apps. Xbox One’s top rival, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, has already partnered with Spotify for an exclusive new PlayStation Music listening platform. Sony also has a tie-up with iHeartRadio to have the audio streaming platform on all of its living room tech, including the PlayStation consoles and the tech company’s smart TVs.
