Owen Grover to helm music education alliance TrueFire Studios

Owen Grover departed as Pocket Casts’ CEO at the start of the week, and is already taking the helm at a new operation. He has joined TrueFire Studios, an alliance of online music education companies, as its chief executive. The newly formed alliance works to provide affordable access to music education and video lessons from best-in-class artists.

The move brings Grover back to his music roots. Before joining podcast platform Pocket Casts, he spent more than a decade at iHeartMedia. During his tenure there, he was a founding member of iHeartRadio. He’s also a past RAIN Summit speaker.
