iHeartRadio arrives on Comcast set-top box, brings podcasts to Apple CarPlay

iHeartRadio has announced two new integrations for its listeners. First, its podcasts are now supported on the Apple CarPlay. The integration offers easy and safe access to shows behind the wheel, including an option for “Continue Listening” that will pick up at the spot where the last podcast was playing.

The second development is a partnership with Comcast that will roll out iHeartRadio on the Xfinity X1 set-top box. This integration includes support for the voice remote, so users can say “Listen to iHeartRadio” to access the platform’s music channels, playlists, and podcasts. The Xfinity On Demand section will also offer browsing of iHeartRadio’s programming.
