Deezer’s international exec departs

Deezer’s top ranks are once again in flux. Gerrit Schumann has stepped down as the streaming company’s chief international officer to take a senior role at Handelsblatt, a German newspaper publisher. Schumann had joined Deezer in 2013 as vice president of Europe.

Deezer recently hired a chief partnerships officer in the form of Pascal De Mul and brought on Chris Baughen as its vice president of content and formats. The streaming company saw a change in ownership in September when Access Industries was granted exclusive control over Deezer.
