Congratulations to the 2018 British Podcast Awards winners

The British Podcast Awards has bestowed awards to shows created in Great Britain during the year. The winner for 2018 podcast of the year is Griefcast by Cariad Lloyd. Kermode & Mayo’s Film Review by Somethin’ Else for BBC Radio 5Live received the Listeners’ Choice Award. Helen Zaltzman was honored as the Podcast Champion 2018.

Show in several categories received recognition, including family, true crime, comedy, sports, fiction, and branded content. The Acast Innovation Award was given to Podcast Pingback from Aiir. Read the full list of winners here.

The event is run by organized by Matt Hill and Matt Deegan. A panel of more than 50 international and UK judges working in podcasts chose the winners.
