Wondery opens The Booth: First look at new podcasts in exchange for tasks and surveys

Podcast network Wondery has announced and opened The Booth, a free opportunity to participate in surveys, see new podcast ideas before they become public, and (in the promo language) “shape the future of podcasts.”

We joined after reading a confidentiality agreement that swears Booth members to secrecy about info and materials they might receive, and describes a willingness to take surveys and give Wondery ownership of all information and recordings The Booth collects from members.

The surveying gets underway pronto — a decently lengthy questionnaire about podcast listening habits, preferences, and personal demography.
