Voice-activated Slacker coming to Toyota and Lexus

Thanks to new software updates, Slacker is coming to the Toyota Entune and Lexus Enform connected car dashboards. The online radio service will be added to models from 2011 to 2015 from both manufacturers. Older cars already on the road will get Slacker Radio added as a listening option through a software update.

The Enform update for Lexus is already available, and Toyota says its Entune update is coming soon. Both systems have voice activation, so the Slacker software will incorporate that feature in the song and station searches.

Slacker has been making steady progress in the connected car department. In fact, a revisit of our RAIN poll about listening in the car had several of the phone app fans calling out Slacker as a service of choice.
